Description
Eleagnus ebbingei is a tough and versatile evergreen shrub featuring glossy, dark green leaves with silvery undersides, providing year-round interest and excellent wind and privacy screening. In autumn, it produces small flowers, followed by edible, red-speckled berries. Fast-growing and tolerant of wind, salt, drought and poor soils, it is ideal for exposed sites, coastal gardens or informal hedging. Can be clipped for shaping or left to grow naturally.
