Taxodium glabosa (Montezuma Bald Cypress) is an elegant, fast-growing, deciduous conifer native to Mexico and Central America. It is known for its soft, feathery green foliage and upright, pyramidal form. It retains its foliage long into autumn and is tolerant of drier soils. Its bark is smooth and exfoliating, adding year-round interest. Ideal for parks, large gardens or waterside planting, it provides shade, movement and seasonal colour, turning golden-bronze before shedding its needles in winter.
